Susanne decided to wake Scott up with Paxton laying next to him once again. Susanne wanted to make sure that he remembered that he had a lot of snuggle time to catch up on. It felt nice that they didn't have to wake up and rush to go anywhere today. They had made the wise decision NOT to participate in Black Friday. There was nothing that they needed that badly to leave the house.
Moppy, Susanne, and Scott were looking forward to Poppy's famous "day after Thanksgiving sandwich". This was a meal that was almost more exciting than the Thanksgiving meal itself. All three of them always looked forward to this special treat all year long.
Throughout the day, Susanne had been training Poppy on how to care for Paxton. He had shown interest since Susanne and Paxton first came down. She thought that it was such a nice gesture and it would definitely help her out in the long run.
The most important part of the day was that it was Poppy's birthday. It didn't look like he had aged a bit. For his birthday, it had been a tradition for them to have an Oyster Roast and Cherry Pie. Since Leah and her family were out of town, it had been postponed until tomorrow. Instead, they had pizza for dinner...that is everyone except Susanne. Paxton got to join in the festivities. He played in his bouncer that lit up and played music when he kicked around. He loved it. It was amazing how long everyone could just sit and watch Paxton. He was a constant source of entertainment.
The rest of the evening was filled with fun and games. It was always a nice way to end a day.
