No Autographs Please

Paxton is one popular little guy. In fact, he is so popular that he even had fans all the way from Sweden stop by today for a visit along with Chief. They brought Paxton a bunch of nice gifts and some candy for his parents to enjoy. One of the gifts Paxton received was a Tomtebobarnen 6-piece dish set, which they were told was a very popular item for children in Sweden to own. The motifs for this dish set was taken from a childrens book that was written by Elsa Beskow. Tomtebobarnen refers to the children of the forest, which is comparable to elves in the United States. The candy they received was also extra special. They got the specific brand of Swedish Fish that originated in Sweden that you cannot get in the United States. The Swedish Fish you can get here are made by a different candy company and do not taste nearly as good. In Sweden the candy is called “Pastellfiskar” which literally means “pale colored fishes.” They were enjoyable and oh so tasty.

After Paxton's visitors left, Scott and Susanne spent the rest of the afternoon running errands with Paxton. It was amazing to them the amount of attention that Scott received while carrying baby Paxton around. Paxton was definitely a chick magnet...even more so than a new puppy! Susanne did not think that Scott had ever been hit on this much in one day. Scott was not complaining. It was nice for the entire family to get out of the house for a little bit. It was easy to forget that there was a world that existed outside of their home.

When they got home, Scott and Susanne finished organizing the freezers that were storing the infamous breast milk. They spent a large portion of their evening separating the milk by the date it was pumped and storing it in their own individual bags.

At the end of the evening, they rewarded themselves by watching a movie in their bed and catching up on some snuggle time. This helped them to stay awake for the very late arrival of Gigi and Poppy.
