The Easter Bunny must have stopped by sometime last night because when Paxton woke up this morning, he had an Easter basket full of candy waiting for him. Susanne was quite tempted to eat some of Paxton's candy, but realized that, unfortunately, all of it had some sort of milk product in it. Stupid, dumb chocolate!
Susanne made breakfast for everyone while the rest of the crew watched a movie. Unbeknownst to Susanne, beer had been chosen as the drink of choice for the morning by Scott and Poppy. According to them, it was never too early for a cold one.
The weather was absolutely beautiful today. It was the perfect weather for going on a walk. Later in the afternoon, everyone decided to get out of the house and enjoy the sun. Even James and Maverick got to participate in the outing. Paxton really enjoyed watching all of the birds fly around and he liked looking at the lake.
Scott and Susanne decided to think outside of the box this year and have a non-traditional Easter dinner. The menu included baby back ribs on the grill, corn on the cob, and Gigi's famous potato salad. Yummy.
The best part of the day was when Scott surprised everyone by deciding to stay an extra day. This was so nice since he never gets to visit with Gigi and Poppy that much.
The evening ended with everyone watching "The Blindside". For all of you that have not yet seen it, it's a must.
