DANGER! Do Not Operate When Tired

Scott got up with Susanne around 6:30am to help her pack the car so that she and Paxton could get on the road. They had to try to make it back to Virginia in time for a 3:30pm therapy appointment. It helped tremendously that the occupational therapist came to the house for the sessions.

There had been a flood warning posted for today. It was raining heavily the entire six hour drive. Weird as it may sound, Susanne welcomed bad weather. It really helped to keep her focused on the road and to stay awake. Surprisingly, she didn't feel tired on this drive. Six hours was starting not to feel so bad.

Susanne and Paxton arrived home around 2:45pm. Susanne took him straight up to bed so that he could try to get a quick nap in before his therapy session. Paxton got less than thirty minutes of shut eye before Susanne had to wake him up. She knew that it would be hit or miss whether he would be able to function through the appointment. Unfortunately, he was a little cranky and very tired. It wasn't shocking to them. It was actually completely understandable and expected. Paxton pushed through during the beginning of the session. He was sitting up better and he held up his head well. His ability to work through the exhaustion was short lived. It wasn't long before he fell asleep in the middle of an exercise. Poor little Paxton! Night! Night!
