Postponed Trip

Paxton's appointment for today ended up being cancelled due to the issues with the insurance. They could not get an approval for his vaccine so there was no need for him to come in. This actually worked in Susanne's favor. This meant that she would not need to get up extra early to get on the road. Now she could sleep a little longer and there was no rush to head out.

Scott was able to help Susanne pack before his class. An extra pair of hands was always in demand. Even with the added help, it was still a production to get out the door. For some reason, living out of a suitcase had not become any easier.

Susanne finally got on the road around 12:30pm. It was a lovely drive for once. The weather was nice and she was not sleepy at all. Paxton did well also. He enjoyed looking out the window at the scenery. It was an added bonus that the sun was out longer especially with her leaving later than she was used to. She really struggled to drive at night so this was helpful.

Susanne got home and got settled in. She was excited to be in her own home, in her own bed, and watching her own television. The kitties were excited too. They had no issues with lounging around with her.

Right as Susanne was about to fall asleep, she heard someone come through the door. She was scared at first until she saw that it was Scott. This was the perfect surprise. There was always room for one more in the bed.
